Hello, and welcome to the-cat-who-walks-by-himself website. This is basically a journal site documenting the construction and fitting-out of my 64' narrowboat. I set up this site with two ideas in mind, primarily to keep my friends and family informed of progress, but also as a guide (probably a how-not-to) to anyone out there wishing to follow suit. I will be including as much technical information as I possibly can under the Plans section, as I found there was a scarcity of this kind of information on the web. Having said that, the forum members on Canalworld are a particularly helpful and friendly bunch.
