Notable design feature in this part of the boat is the folding bed. I wanted two single beds in here, bunks would have
been good but the taper on the upper cabin would mean that the top bunk would have been narrower than the base, or it
would have obtruded more into the cabin. I wasn't happy about either of those options, so went for two parallel singles,
one of which would have to fold away as otherwise there would only be a 9" walkway between them. There is also a notable
amount of kit in this part of the boat, mainly in the port side rear cupboard. All the electrical fuses/RCDs and the
Mastervolt inverter are housed in here, along with the calorifier.
